Our shelves are full of used books looking for a second (or fifth) home. Books start at $2, and you can pay cash or card at the window. Grab a cookie and a paperback and call it a good day.

About us

Wild Branch Books and Bakery is a 1979 box truck full of cookies and used books. We bake ahead of time, load everything up, and park around Twin Falls so you can grab a treat and a paperback in one stop.

We bake more cookies than we could ever eat and buy more books than our house can hold. The truck fixes both problems!

Meet Colt, our Chief Cookie Critic

He's never baked a thing, can't drive, and has zero interest in reading. He does, however, take his job reviewing our emails (by lying on the keyboard) very seriously. Colt stays home. The truck is a cat-free zone.

Questions we get a lot

  • How do pre-orders work?

    Pick a stop, choose your cookies, and pay online through Square. We'll bag them with your name on them, and you can pick them up at the window any time during that stop.

  • Will you sell out?

    Often, yes! That's the best reason to pre-order. Pre-ordered cookies are set aside just for you, so they can't sell out from under you.

  • How do I pay?

    Cash or card at the window. Pre-orders are paid online by card when you order.

  • How much are the books?

    Used books start at $2. Browse the shelves, grab what you like, and pay at the window.

  • What about allergies?

    Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts. We're always happy to tell you what's in a cookie, but we can't guarantee it never met a peanut.

  • What if the weather turns?

    Stops sometimes move or get cancelled, even on the day. The map on this page and our stop alert emails are always up to date. If we cancel a stop you pre-ordered for, we'll refund you.

  • Can I meet Colt?

    Sadly, no. Colt stays home, and the truck is a cat-free zone. He sends his regards. (He doesn't.)
